Css & Ie?

I know there are issues with CSS in IE. But I am wondering what the work around is for getting my image to show up. In Safari & FF the bkg image shows, in IE...notta' ting!

Why do you have an external css file, then use css directly on the page? Have you tried putting your css inbetween <!-- comment tags --> like you should be doing when you put it directly in the page.

The background image shows up for me in both IE6 and IE7. I can't check IE8 at the moment though...

As for putting on-page CSS in between HTML comment tags, that is not required at all.

I'm still trying to get the hand of CSS. I know certain things, and then some stuff I'm totally confused when I look at it.
I use GoLive for a majority of this, and I use their external CSS Editor, but then sometimes for BKG images and other things, I'll put that right in the page HTML. Obviously that's wrong? Would that be the issue with the image not showing up. BTW Herkalees...I use MAC. Are you running a PC?

Thank you!
Jason

It may indicate that search engine bots may accidentally read it too, so perhaps it is best to comment it out?

If the on-page style element is where it belongs (between the head tags), then it won't be displayed.
