Good... then you won't read this when I call you a humourless cunt then.

But for your benefit, in case you don't follow through on your promises, Vannova is an Indian designer/developer who has been spamming this forum for about the last week touting for work.

there's a google adword saying "outsourcing india" cunningly positioned right under your first post. if they're smart enough to work that out maybe give them a go. question is why you'd want to though...?

I know it's off-topic, but that's pretty much what I was wondering as well.

Offshore outsourcing always struck me as management wanting to maximise profits, even at the expense of quality.

People outsource to india because wages are cheaper. (because it costs less to live over there) But if you are going to be taking some time off and flying over there all expenses paid, how is that cheaper than hiring someone here? Wouldn't it be cheaper to google it?

From what I have heard, outsourcing work to India can be very hit and miss. There are plenty of people out there just selling on the fact that they can undercut anyone, yet the quality of work usually delivered reflects the money spent, or work never gets delivered.

I wouldn't advise it, you'll be first in the dole queue.

This is true, of course, but I don't think we can deny that there might be an agency or freelancer in India whose work is of sufficient quality.

I haven't seen it (that I can think of), but I'm sure it exists.
