Help, please.

I probably sound like a major newbie right about now, but could someone please tell me how to get those diagonal lines in some logos/backgrounds? I mean the really thick ones? Thanks a lot.

Draw a line, rotate 45degrees. Voila, a diagonal line.

Yeah... it really is that simple. Just ramp up the stroke width to make it thicker. Making it a tiling background involves a little more thinking, but there are tutorials around for that kind of thing, I'm sure.

Tute

Open new canvas 3px x 3 px

Select pencil size 1 px and color black

Click 3 x squares diagonal on the canvas

Edit/Define pattern

Then to fill new image - Edit/Fill with pattern

you can get brushes which will do it for you have a mooch on the net something is bound to pop up!
