the boss has 'implied' that he wants help setting up a personal site for the sports club he belongs to ... and i'm in the frame for getting it done.

i don't wanna spend anytime at all on it - but he wants something he can update with news and images etc .. something dead simple - pushbutton stuff ... and he wants to use his own domain ...

what's the quickest, easiest solution ??

blogger ? cutephp ? another ?

wordpress, upload, modify wp-config and you're set.

easiest for non-webbies to get to grips with too ??

thats my biggest concern - setting something up that he can't use ... and then have to do something else ...

once it's set up there should be no probs just type in and hit publish.

yep - word press is a cinch + there are some tuts you can throw his way.

Blogger is another option - comes ready made.

yeah ... blogger has a download or hosted option ...

the backend of both of them look very similar - so they don't come much simpler i guess ...

wordpress is really simple to use. still if he won't take at least half an hour to get to know it, you can build him a rocketship and he still won't be happy

Did you want to direct a domain name to your blog?

In this case the setup may be a little bit more complicated but once it is intsalled and running wordpress is the easiest. No HTML knowledge needed.
