embedded fonts

How do i make an embedded font?, ive already tried downloadding truedoc -- but i cant find a dl link anywhere on bitstream.com, and i dont like the micrsoft font embedder(it only works with ie), and if i use flash does the viewer need flash player to see the font(if no how to use flash to embed fonts)?

Or you could just use web friendly fonts for you design..

Totally check that out - sIFR is great for headlines and such. If you're looking to embed a lot of text however, you won't want to use this. Using web friendly fonts for the majority of your body text is the best idea on many levels (i.e. accessibility, search engine visibility, etc.).
