Email Problem
What I am doing wrong? I've put together this email signature using frames, we want the logo to stay top right in the page, witgh the strap line static on the left side. So however wide the outlook window is, the logo's sits to the right edge. This is the main reason I've used frames...I tried using stylesheets to place the lofgo as a positioned background image, but either outlook wasn't loving rthe stylesheet, or I did it incorrectly...either way it didn't work for me. The main problems with this signature are: 1. The text editor ignores the type inside the frame, so spell check doesn't work. 2. Also it seems client sare unable to copy and pase info into the text area of the signature. 3. When the message is replied a funny horizontal stacking issue occurs where columns/slithers of text appear outside the frame to the right of the logo, so you can scroll horizontally to the right and see all this messy type formatting from previous emails. I think the best route is to lose the frames but then I can't fix the logo to the right edge of the page. Any idea or advice would be much appreciated... whats facebook?

The problem with email signatures is you have to forget everything you learned and write it to be html 4. You best bet, for outlook sigs is to use the editor (advanced edit tab which will open microsoft word - in most cases) Use Word to make your email sig, Youll save yourself alot of trouble. |
