Guys I need some contructive critisim on my new site design, now bare in mind that this site is only running proplerly in ie7 and firefox (i'm still working on the ie6 style sheet and detection script) plus there is more content to be added. The problem I'm having at the moment is that the home page needs something extra but my mind is blank at the minute, any suggestion? my site is blackholemedia.co.uk |

Not sure about the numbers of the nav items. Anyway, its just the lack of content. The site feels like it was designed for more to go in there... its a massive header, big borders - a small paragraph of text with a big white gap under it. The balance feels off. unconsolidated isoparms

I think having a featured work, latest work snippet on this home page would help. A way to draw attention to your work. Adding something like this, with an image of the item your talking about would be a good way to balance off this main page. If you keep a couple of previous additions, the content would balance out the header. Good luck! |

Well I've taken the advice of you guys and made some design changes to my site, I'm still not 100% happy with the featured work area of the home page so any suggestions would be great. Have a look please blackholemedia.co.uk Thanks |

FYI: You dont need a script to detect IE and target a CSS to it... You can do it with conditional comments. Much easier and more efficient. If you're still not sure, you can do a quick search on google and find out how its done... There are plenty of sites out there that will tell you. |
