HELP..I give up in designing a site. Can you do it for $?

Hi All,

I think I have bit more than I can chew. I have a website that I said I will design for $150 and now I am stuck.

They like my idea (designed in Photoshop), but I can't figure things out now in transferring it to HTML. I have sort off, but it is not efficient.

For example...have a look at what I have done so far:

I can't add links yet...PM me for them if you are interested

Can anyone help me compelte this?

Things that need to be done:

On Overall site:
- From Photoshop convert to HTML so that I can easily edit text if I wanted to. Rather than my current slices bit.

- Also make it easier for me to add/change menu items..for example..I can call Testimonials to Test and so on.

- Create a gallery page with sub galleries in the style of the site.

- Add Forms for contact.

On Individual pages, there will be multiple changes.

HELPPPPPP!

I am willing to part with my $150 for this. Need to finish quickly.

It can be done in Flash / Javascript..or whatever..don't care, as long as it is efficient to load and also for me to make future changes.

Please let me know.

Thanx

EDIT: The client would like something nice and animating...so Flash maybe the way.
P.S. I have posted the same on another forum. I am desparate to get this done. Any help would be appreciated. I will let you know I have gotten help or not. I am not going to tag you along.

Hey, I honestly think that you should give a go. Post up your concept and maybe we can walk you through it. Since you can't post the link - post it like the following: ebay.com/here.htm
We will put in the http and the www.
Anyways, I am assuming that if you can't transfer slices then you shouldn't ask other people to do it in Javascript or Flash.

ok...here is a couple of pages:

chelseaconstructioncorp.com/design1.html
chelseaconstructioncorp.com/contactus.html

The main page is where I am having a lot of problems. You will see it when it takes so long to load and the alignment is wrong.

that's because you're using huge images
http://chelseaconstructioncorp.com/images/pix2.jpg

rescale them in photoshop at the size of your container.

Yeah, that image is a freakin' megabyte. My entire portfolio site is less than a megabyte - images included.

I didn't realize that...but that is why I am just a n00b at this and am frustrated the hell out.

I do not even want to touch the site again..just have someone finish it and I will take this as a lesson.

Anyone?

All right look......we have all wanted to give up - but you will never learn if YOU DON'T DO IT. What you have done wrong is you inserted the image at full size and told either dreamweaver or "probably" frontpage to resize it. What you need to do is resize that image in photoshop and then insert it into the design. Don't get toooo frustrated - it doesn't look all that bad.

From what I can see - your design is decent - I would change the color pink to a different color. And if you ask me - I would actually loose the white home all together. The wooden pictures work wonderfully (since your colors are warm and so are they), but the white picture stands out like a sore thumb. Just food for thought. I hope that you continue making headway.
