Hi,

Can anyone spare some time to take a look at http://www.varitek.co.uk/problem/

Check it out in both Firefox and Internet explorer and you will see the problem.

I remember coming across this issue a long while back but can't remember how I solved it.

If anyone can resolve this I will be most grateful.

The only way that I could figure out how to fix it was by setting the margin to -17 in the '#nav ul li' Now I didn't get to check this out in IE - but the saying goes:

design in any CSS compliant browser, then fix for IE (i.e. hack for IE)

yes, i reckon that's your problem. you need to write css for the ul then the li separately or else some browsers will apply default margin & padding values. just adding this fixed it for me...

I am assuming you mean "check" in english.
