hi everybody,

i am new in this field and have a 2 month exp in designing. I have made a site epurplemedia.co.uk, but the site layout is not properly designed, please give me suggestion to make my site look good in design point of view .

the header of my site is looking dull. Please tell me what to place in the header

Overall not bad. The text on the right needs a formatting change:

I think you used justify here. You need to add padding to this container, and you need to make it centered or left align. But the spacing is just awful.

A quick example of how I would make the header more interesting with resources available (you will of course need to take a picture as the one I found is undoubtedly copyrighted):

Update: And there are some balancing issues even in the example image I posted, so you may want to fix that.

its pretty purple, i think that you could do with some more subtle colour touches to soften it a little, the bright purple on white is a little harsh, maybe some lilac gradients?

Anyway, it's OK, I guess. Pretty bland and generic. Still using font tags (tsk tsk). The pepper in the logo makes my stomach turn. Might want to reconsider that concept.
