Does anyone know how to create pop-ups (possibly java script) that cause the page to darken and slowly fade up in the center of the page over the original content? What are they called?

Here's an example:
abercrombie.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10051_10901_1_-1_12351 (click one of the four small pictures on the bottom of the page)

Yes it's JavaScript. Similar to lightbox. Google "lightbox js" and you'll find it.

What I would do is search on google =)

There a lot of free soft for this.
