Annoyed with the World

Arg! I know this is the "help forum", and I figured this was the best place to post this, because if you know what the answer is throughout this rant, you could help.

So I work with the bank, where their desire to be:
  1. Outdated
  2. Paranoid

Controls my work habits. I design sites for the Investment Advisors, which need to fit into tiny little 540 boxes, so all the stupid rbc marketing can be seen by all. After all, we forgot we're at an RBC site, for even ten seconds, that's just not right. Whatever though, I can work with 540 px wide. However here's the thing.

1) Javascript - Is allowed and works... only as long as it's in the body. You're not allowed to use the header. Why? The developers say it already works. So that rules out some things. JS is not a big deal though, because most things can be done in CSS.

2) CSS - It's allowed and works too... only if you're in the goddamn body. This prevents any proper interaction. However, it should work with designs as long as each dive looks like this:
< div style="float:left; margin-right:10px; margin-left:10px; margin-top:10px; margin-bottom:10px; PADDING-RIGHT: 10px; PADDING-LEFT: 10px; PADDING-BOTTOM: 10px; PADDING-TOP: 10px; BACKGROUND-COLOR:#000000; COLOR:#FFFFFF; WIDTH:540PX; HEIGHT:250PX" >

EVERY SINGLE CSS tag ends up looking like that. So now links can't even have a simple :hover attribute. PLUS the final css that is default for all pages, overwrites everything, because instead of .tdinfo they just put in td! No classes or ids... Just freakin' regular old tags. GRRRRR

3) ASP... I am allowed you use it, just as long as it's an uploaded page, and requires no writing or reading. So I can't import/submit anything. It's just another freakin' static page.

4) I know what you're thinking... IFRAMES! I can upload files, so why not do it right and then upload it afterwards... I would... except... the IA's need to edit the page little using the same stupid editor I need to use.

5) The developers have never heard of spacing, and this is how the commands for a page are laid out.

REL DEL EDIT

I just deleted something, when I went to edit it... due two a pixel too over. NOW I need to re-code something again that took me hours because of everything listed above. Oh, AND they didn't bother to even add a warning for the deletion!!!!

The worst part is, because I am taking so long to code things (look at that code, try and fix your mistakes in that! My boss has told me it's OK to jepordize quality for quantity. It's not an issue of freakin' quality over quanity... It's an issue of I DON'T have proper resources to do anything.

I am sooo pissed right now.
