honestly ie? drivel.
I've been re-designing my site, just due to how flat it all looks, and I've been using firefox, bloody grand piece of software for design, and then i get back to have a look in IE and I notice that my image is being a tard, I had to use absolute positioning to get it all to stick well, that's the problem. www.upleft.co.uk/ Anybody know a way I could get round that in the header? I've got more questions but I'll leave them for now, (nav going flat, js links & the pink gradient limited by the content) Last edited by brooks : 03-12-2006 at 12:46. |

working now...odd. Looks nice. How about replacing the H1 title, along with the image with one big image replacement technique (ie: style the H1 so the text is hidden, background image etc etc). Rather than just hiding the H1 and then having an image in the content. |

Okay i've had a random play about but I don't know how the site looks in IE7 or Opera, can anyone tell me what it's like? I think IE7 is being a bugger but who knows. Thanks if you can help. |

I can only speak for IE 7, and it looks fine. Also, "switch" top right -- I'm not quite seeing how that works other than returning to the home page. Are you planning a graphic/color change for this at some point? I'm sure it's still in the works, but I just thought I'd ask. fun: HGC v.4 | last.fm: DT | me | oi! f*ck u roto: ...via meebo!

IE(6 and lower) cannot display transparent PNGs. Read this Messes up in Opera v9.02 b8585 Funny you would mention a gradient background. You should start reading ALA, look at this article. I think this is what you are looking for? Make sure you read the comments, always a few more good tips in there. |
