sizing jpegs
hello me again :-/ can anyone tell me the best way to make a jpeg or tiff a certain dimension ? .. I have sized my image on photoshop and according to photoshop its the size i want it .. but when saving it as a tiff to send via email.. its definitely too small sorry to be asking such ridicuous questions but there are huge gaps in my grasp of technology !!!! sorry!!! if anyone could take pity on me i would be so grateful!! |

Hey there.... ok, so you can do a couple things here. 1. size it in PS according to how large you want the image to be. Obviously for web, pixels work best. Photoshop has a function under "view" titled "Actual Pixels" which will display your image at full scale. This will pretty much tell you how small or gigantic your image would display on the web. So, with that, just go into Image>Image Size> and determine your image size. 2. If you're good at HTML (this would be good practice if you aren't), script your email as an html document and then you can embed the image in the html with a detemined size (agaiin, pixels is best).
