open source cms's

Hi

Has anyone used cms made simple to create an ecommerce site? Is it possible or are there better alternatives?

I ideally want a nice simple cms solution that can be used for e commerce as well as for small sites.

Any suggestions?

CMSMS is good, but it's not ready for eCommerce use just yet.

cubecart is good, shame it uses FCKEditor which crashes the browser ALL THE FUCKING TIME!!!! It's not opensource, but free to download and a licence costs buggerall.

I noticed you put up a link to that in another thread. This is a great solution if you just want a simple CMS. I rebuilt my homepage in it as a tester, gonna start using this for brochure sites and so on

I use Drupal - http://www.drupal.org
it has a shopping cart module that you can turn on and use!

but if you're serious about using a CMS, make sure you do the research!
