xml play list without icons
Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to make an xml playlist so that a web browser can select different videos and watch it in the flash player on a website, however, without the icons. and then how to link it to my flash player. I have the tutorial with icons but I'm trying to make it just a drop down menu of titles. Can anyone help me? Thanks for your time. Christine |

What do icons have to do with an xml playlist? And which article are you referring to? What flash player are you using? What server-side language are you using? You've given no real useful information for people to help you. |

Sorry. I'm really sorry.
I have a problem in which my goal is to play video on the web using dreamweaver and flash to make a video play list which people can select and watch. I was planning to use xml as from what I heard it will be easier in the long run to add videos without having to change too much on the website. I was reading this article at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/ar...yer_print.html about creating the playlist. But is there anyway that I can change this to progressive flash video instead of streaming. Also a way where I can make instead of having icons on the playlist, I was trying to make it even simpler where it would just be like a menu to titles that drops down. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. Or even another tutorial that I might look at to help me out. If this is not enough information to understand the problem please tell me. I appreciate everybodies time. |
