help! please! i need transparent text box
hi guys, just started this project few days ago. http://www.jc-dc.net/ConverseWinkler/commercial001.htm i need to create a text box on top of the image above. sort of like this http://www.pcparch.com/flash.cfm i want it to be about 30-40% opacity. does anybody know how to do that? please help! |

You need to use a semi-transparant PNG file in your background. Create a layered PSD document and fill with 30-40% of the tint colour, then save for web as a PNG (24 bit format) with transparancy checked. You'll also need to apply the usual PNG fix for Internet Explorer. |

If its only as big as the text box, its not really future proof - what if the user changes the blurb? Plus if the user resizes the text through the browser, the fixed size image bg may no longer be big enough. And thats a lot of photoshop work! |
