Choosing a CMS

I am currently working on a site that once built, will only require update of the events calendar and header on the homepage. I am trying to choose a CMS but cannot decide on one - it needs to be simple, visually pleasing and allow registration for mailing lists etc and in must be Php MySql based.

I have looked at Drupal, Joomla, Mambo, Limbo, Expression Engine and TYPO3.

Any recommendations for what I should use? I want access to a wide range of features but it needs to be simple.

Ed

My experience is limited to joomla and mambo, but of the two i would recommend joomla. The main reason being that Joomla was started when most of the Mambo dev team left. I also am a bigger fan of joomla's support forums. The two are almost equals with features and most plugins are reversable to both platforms but that will be changing very soon with the next joomla release so stay with joomla.
