Should we charge for extra fee if client wants to remove our name from their site? Or it's not necessary to put web designed by ourname ?

A client of mine recently wanted the copyright at the bottom of each page changing, to the website name rather than his name, this excluded my name and link from the footer, and tbh, I'd prefer it if it was there, but he's put me in the links section of his profile, I'd say just slap a few quid on there if you're not happy.
