ecommerce - joomla or drupal

I need an open source ecommerce solution that can be used in conjuction with a cms. I've got my list down to drupal's ecommerce module or joomla + VirtueMart.

From the reviews I've read and after installing both VirtueMart is winning.

Anyone had any experience with either before I make my decision?

Yeah, drupal is excellent but its ecommerce doesn't seem so polished. But I havent used it in a working environment.

Joomla is horrible code, clunky to use, but virtuemart does work and seems fairly stable. Used it a couple of times - my only warning would be its CSV databsse import function is utterly rubbish, it can't handle anything complex at all.

I didn't use cubecart because of its lack of CSV import - I think it was an extra 3rd party module that you had to shell out for. Put me off.

If you aren't importing databases however, you have nothing to worry about. (If I dare use such a phrase in the fiddly world of e-commerce).
