on this site i'm working on i have a vertial listed menu, with submenus which show when clicked on. it's inspired by
http://tutorials.alsacreations.com/d...u-vertical.htm
the style - elements are different, but the functional coding is the same.

it works fine but there are 2 things bothering me at the moment//

-when refreshing or loading a different page, there's like half a second when you see the submenus flickering before going to display:none. no biggie, but it botheres me like hell
-i'd like a menu where the submenu of the list item you clicked stays open when refreshed..

should i look into an entirely different kind of list? or can i adjust this (the css/javascript part ?) into what i want ?
