Very simple pixel to vector transformation

Hello, i`m wanting some help to transform the below image to a ai or a cdr file, vector based.
I think this is a easy job for someone who knows the basic features od adobe illustrator or corel draw.

Looks like a 2 minute job. In fact, you could probably do it with the circle tool - probably give you a better curve. 2 circles, overlay them, cut out the overlap.

Bing bang zoom.

then duplicate the curve (on the same position) edit the middle node. Use Red for the top curve and white for the bottom one. Use the blend tool to create the gradient efect. You amy also use the drop-shadow.
