i was wondering if anyone could help me with a predicament i'm in, i'm designing a site that uses an animation, and i need a way to have buttons to go to specific places in the annimation, but not just jump; i need it to go form its current possition and fast forward or rewind to that possition smoothly.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! thanks
