I am stuck on this problem....

I am creating a site with a top frame containing a drop down flash menu used for navigation and a main frame underneath it.

I want to keep the top frame small but allow the drop down menu options to fully expand, overlapping the main frame.

Is this possible or do I have to make the top frame large enough to fit the fully expanded menu?

I have tried messing around with the div tags, layer/ z-index options with no success.

ANy input will be appreciated.

You can't cross frames in the manner you describe. Frames are not a good idea anyway. If you want a consistent top menu, use a server-side include instead.
