I was hoping someone could help me out with a problem i'm having. I've made an animation using AE, and i've exported it as a quicktime movie, its looking nice and i'm pleased with the result - but. . . I wanted to import the movie back into AE so I could use some special effects (Old TV) during the transitions, but when I import the Quicktime the quality is mince, all pixelated and shitey!

The quality of the Quicktime movie when I watched it using Quicktime is great, so basically what im wanting to know is if I intend to take an AE file backinto AE as a movie for editing should I export it as somthing else?

is the preview setting on low???, if so .... click the anti aliasing icon (diagonal line in the timeline section) and it hould be better, its all to save that valuable ram!
