I have just installed WAMP and it is great - I once tried to install individual components separately! Silly me! The http://localhost shows the folder I have created for my site. I have a number of questions but cant find a good guide even on the WAMP site on how to use it...please bear with the mundacity of my questions and help me!

Funny questions, but any way .. 1. I dont know to be honest, I use neither of them. It shouldnt make any different since you easily can change any files or folders later.. manually. 2. Ehh, it depends really. You can ofcourse unzip them to wherever you like, somewhere close the other files included in your project maybe? There's manu different ways of extracting a zip, normally to the same folder as the .zip file or a other folder of your choice. And about the WAMP thing, I think there should be a help, faq or manual somewhere when you have installed it. Take a look! |
