Ideas welcome
Hi lads, I've sorted out the design and css of a website I'm working on, although I can't workout how to structure the content in the design. Any suggestions? Its looking a bit plain right now... I have images to include in all the pages etc, just not sure what way to go about adding them in and lining up the text etc. The site is here Cheers decent web hosting - www.balue.com

Page loaded quite surprising quickly given its flash content. The overall design is clean and the code looks fine. I would'nt have split the navigation on two levels in the flash object. I see what your were going for but an open design like this page requires that you keep navigation on a level and perhaps the flash imagery lower. It would be beneficial on subsequent pages to leave out teh flash object and have a static image with a flat bottom or perhaps a series of images in some form that would lend itself to structuring the information below it. To add items to the bottom of the flash object would only needlessly lengthen and convulute an otherwise good design I feel. |

still don't like the green, the tesxt column is too wide and would benefit from being broken up - people skim web text so bullets and subheaders are good ways to break up large blocks of text. I don't like the place-names animation, especially since most of them stop before you can read them - annoying |

Cheers folks. The client is happy with the header flash design... it has tweaks to do but I'm after suggestions for the content area. Yep you are right d*d, the text is too long... just unsure of how to go about it. decent web hosting - www.balue.com

Perhaps make 4 boxes (2x2) emphasising the selling points: in budget, precise, organised, tailored so it is blindingly obvious to the user why to go for this service. Also syntactically: No matter what your motivation is to embark on a Soccer tour, be it looking for a strenuous pre season development tour or a mid season break from your hectic schedule, or even an end of season cool down. Elite soccer tours offers various touring packages that will appeal to all your motivations budgets and requirements. ....there should be a hyphen between down and Elite. |
