Im new to dynamic websites I am building a site with a CMS, search feature and calendar. I run Windows XP and use Microsoft Access which I know can be used for the above. Do I download a testing server ie Apache / PHP / MySql only for testing then just upload the files by FTP to my real server. Apache etc...is only for testing right? I know I'll need a server with PHP and MySQL support. Ed |

Wamp´s great; www.wampserver.com, it installs Apache, PHP5, MySQL, PHPmyadmin and SQLitemanager as a package. Then you avoid alot of the hazzle that comes with installing mysql etc, and Apache itself too ofcourse. |
