Is there a way to define exactly how many pixels the list-style-image should be from the list item itself?

Okay I discovered that it is the alignment of the list-style-image that is differing between browsers.

So to fix this problem I removed the list-style-image completely, and instead put a background image on each li, then played with the margins and paddings til it looked the same in both browsers.
