Computer to Computer
Just setup my two iMacs as a computer to computer wi-fi network but apart from them being connected nothing else has happened. I dont have any shared folders and there is no icon in my servers panel to indicate any form of interaction. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to set something up? |

haha, sorted it now. For future reference you have to turn all the sharing in the System Preferences. Then alter the permission for a folder called "Drop Box". Then go to "Network" and it all should be there. --- Cheers Gray Last edited by Narate : 04-02-2006 at 16:11. |

Erm, you don't have to turn on all the sharing - unless you want to share everything. To just share the files in the drop box / other public folders you just need to turn on Personal File Sharing. Not sure why you had to change the Drop Box permissions they should be correct by default. |
