I might be stupid..
..but its driving me crazy. You remember the function were you ctrl clicked a layer in photoshop (CS1 PC) to select that layer. I've recently moved to a Mac and CS2 and cant find that particular function. Is it simply different on Macs or did Adobe remove the function in CS2? Please help a man in need |

For my own sanity... If you are trying to select a layer object (start marching ants around an object) in order to copy/move that layer, hold the apple key and click on the layer in the layer panel. This will not work on the background layer. To select all of the layer hold apple + a to select all. Or else I must be missing the point of the question altogether! |

Command-click the thumbnail in the layer. (Command is the one with the apple on it.) Ctrl+click is now used for selecting multiple layers. You can either select the layer itself, or the thumbnail inside the layer...they are different entities. Last edited by jthomas : 05-02-2006 at 21:27. |
