iMac screen problem

Hello,
A guy in my studio is getting a weird problem that I wondered if anyone else has experienced. If he uses the slide show option to view a load of images then exits this function, his screen is all bright and washed out, and the only way to get it back to normal is to restart.
Has anyone else had this problem?
If not I fear it might be something to do with his Mac.

I had tons of screen issues with my first iMac.

Had a brightness flaw on the bottom left of the screen, then I had another with the page scrambling and then I had dead pixels.

On the new Intel model now so hopefully issues should have been resolved. From what I read its a fairly wide spread issue. Get on the phone to Apple if I were you. Wont go away, will just get worse.

Hmmm, sounds like we should maybe give apple a call then.
Cheers Narate.
