css positioning ie & firefox

Hi everyone

I am working in dreamweaver mx and am having problem with position divs.

When previewing the design in the program and in IE 5 the layour is fine but when previewing in firefox or safari some elements have moved about 10px up.

I am told this is something to do with the IE box modelling being different to others.

Any advice on how to get round this?

Thanks

test in Firefox if you can...get it looking right in that browser first then worry about IE

dont rely on DW design window preview as its pretty much fucked all the time.

Also can you provide a link?

And don't resize my browser window. I hate, hate, hate that. I keep it maximized for a reason.

Just use absolute positioning sparingly.

I disabled window resizing in Firefox, it seems to be working, pgo
