CSS Bugs and Issues

http://www.guavastudios.com/bowminter/

If you look in FF, then the navigation is positioned in the vertical center as it should be, but the hover effect is knocked off. If you look at it in IE, then the hover effect is in the right place but the text is now at the top.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Another minor issue... in FF, there is a white line below the content area and I can't seem to get rid of it

Thanks in advance..

first try and get rid of this shit
background-position: 50% 50%;
then, instead of making your background image 36 pixels high,
just make it the height of the little chip/arrow and align that to the bottom.
