After some advice from the fine people on here I have decided to create my own site. However I have never done a website before, I have some experience in flash, about a years worth and can do most things.

What applications do I need to get/buy, whats the best application to do the site in? Would like to keep it simple!

Any help would be good!

one page portfolio with good photos/examples of work, use dreamweaver (30 day trial should be enough)

Just keep in mind that taking this route may lead to one very heavy page that will take ages to download... I don't particularly care because I just don't have any time to dedicate to making an elaborate web site for my portfolio, but if you have the time, I would recommend creating a multiple page layout with some decent navigation, but nothing too complex...

there is also the option of using an Adobe Creative Suite combo, like InDesign and GoLive
