I been working on this all day now. Here is what i have.



Ok, i have found out that making my own identity is the HARDEST thing i haev ever done. I have gone thru so may logos and end up not liking them. My teach told me just to go typographic. Its very hard because my style is very very wide. I do corporate things, packeting design, menu design, posters, corporate, urban and youth. i dont want to only do thigns for say Sony.. and i dont want to do thigns for only mtv or whatever. So.. my teach suggested a typographic logo might suit it better. But, i want to ask you guys.. because she admited her self "she sucks at logos".. sooooo, (lol).

This is what im working on, any ideas?
any of these two? any elements you would combine?

Why do you want your own identity? Is it really necessary?

Where the k and s meet is wrong - Id manually tweak them to get them to fit better.
"Designs" looks out of place - is it needed ? Would look stronger without.
Definately has potential, just think you need to play about with it some more.

I think the bold/regular split logo is getting quite tired now. See it everywhere.

How about just going for something obvious but not trendy - put the word pink in the colour blue or something?

i do have a color separator, but you couldnt see it in black and white. and i was told it has to work in blk and white and color

well, yes. its a class project to make our own identity. I plan to use it out of class aswell.

What oli said, plus maybe incorporate some color, not too much though. I like the black text, maybe the dot above the i could be pink.....
