CSS problem part 2

http://www.housingpeopleltd.com/new/umbrella/

in IE the line is really thick, in FF it displays as it should... any ideas?

Code:
.line { float: left; width: 760px; height: 1px; background-color:#CCCCCC; }

Code:
<div class="line"></div>

For what is worth, IE adds a certain height to empty divs (some 15px or so). The solution to have it display as you want would be overflow:hidden; if I can remember width.
But yeah, in that context <hr/> would be more appropriate.

And your first People is a more intense purple than the other two (the hosusingPeople bit). What's with that?

IE can sometimes add height due to a font size in the div even though you havent set one. If you make font-size:0px; for your line it shall fix your problem
