css in firefox

i just realised that this:

.content-background {
background-color: #FFFFFF;
filter:alpha(opacity=65)
}

doesnt work in firefox can anyone suggest an alternative to making a white background with an opacity applied to it

use a png for background.
and use the opacity filter in an IE-only css file, cause it's a proprietary IE rule

Or you could look up moz-opacity

In that case I would avoid using transparencies at this stage.
