I need some flyers printing

Can anyone recommend a UK based printer for some flyers I need printing.

Quantity has been an issue with the ones I've found so far. The industry standard seems to be minimum 5k which is about 4000 more than we need.

TIA

I've found Prontaprint to be one of the better highstreet printers... and there are shit loads of 'em around. Pay them a visit and see how on the ball they seem to be.

I've already been through the yellow pages. I thought I'd try for some recommendations.

try printing.com, even though it has a stupid virtual name, they are a high street shop. I have used them several times and for full colour they are pretty good value, and min quantities are usually quite low.

e.g. promo cards, 77x127mm full colour front x 5000 only £109.

(they do a referral scheme, so if you're interested let me know so I can claim my bonus from them )

main drawback is they charge for proofs.

or, you could try loudmouth (confusingly at www.loudworld.co.uk) who do very reasonable postcards style fliers at low quantities and good prices, the downside being they have quite a long turnaround time, and they put a tiny company advert on the back. But you could be looking at around £80 for 1000 postcards. based in sheffield, but they deliver.

(I'm not connected with them )

I use printing.com too, they are good and Stella from the Sheffield office not only has a cool name but is very nice and is very good at keeping you informed of where your job is up to!!

Still trying to find a happy medium. The big boys won't do any less than 5k of the same design and the smaller printers start getting too expensive for what you get.

I'll keep looking.

Whats your budget?? Most of the time it seems that can pay the same for 10000 as you would for 1000. Personally in the past i've used UKflyers.com -great service - good quality printing and media.

Full colour both sides 300gsm silf finish

A7 10000 £125
A6 10000 £180
A5 10000 £295
DL 10000 £240 (personal favourite)

I realise its more then you want but the price is great.
