virtual tour for a website

A client wants to have a virtual tour for their furniture showroom, but it souldn't be just a panoramic image wherein you can have a 360 deg view, it should have like clickable areas wherein you can go to another view or pull out an info on a particular item.
Any ideas or suggestion on how to put it in would be great! Thanks!!!

i think ive seen a design agencies site which had somethin similar using Quicktime VR where you could move round 360 degrees and click on certain areas to move to another view.

I'd say recreating the showroom as a stylised environment in Flash would the best way to achieve what the client is asking for. The main reason being: you won't want to recreate the file with new photography every time their stock is updated?
