might this be the server os?
Hi, I've recently designed a simple site for a client which contains rollovers. Unfortunately when they upload it to their server these don't work. However, the rollovers are fine on my server. I'd very much appreciate someones help as to why this may be happening. The site can be viewed on my server at www.alexmcleod.co.uk thanks in advance Alex |

Those rollovers are controlled by complex JavaScript that has the trademark look of "I clicked the generate rollover button in Dreamweaver." They could be done with about 1/8th the code in CSS. Don't know what to tell you. Make sure the paths are correct on their server - it might not be finding the right images. There's no reason to believe - since you don't seem to be using any server-side technology - that the server or its OS would have anything to do with the problem. |
