Edit in flash!!! export from illustrator to swf then use the flash environment to delete/mask whatever you want- but don't import each frame from photoshop, also think about how you want the vine to grow, not just chopping of blocks each frame |

Someone had once posted a thread about growing vines and then I believe another person stated about how to mask it using a shape and tweening it. could anybody explain this in more depth. (i'm sorry for those people I don't know the names. Please forgive me... I don't remember the user names ) I am trying to make a flash website with vines growing. The vines aren't too complex, i think, and was trying it by masking and basically painting over the parts with the same color as the background Frame by Frame on the masked layer. I don't know, it just seems a bit messy and wanted to ask if anybody could explain the process of using a shape and tweening it so that it reveals the vines. Or maybe I'm doing the masking all wrong. If anybody knows a good tutorial of this it would be great or if you tell me how to do it, I'll write up the tutorial for you. Sorry kind of a beginner in flash but know a little bit about it. I would appreciate any help. And just to say ahead of time: Thanks for your help. |
