Flyer

Hello! I am a little stuck. I have been approached by this v.small creative bridal company to initially create a flyer for them. Perhaps then leading onto creating content on their web site, and doing a monthly newsletter.
Thing is, I've never actually designed a flyer before, and have no idea what's reasonable in terms of pricing. The job offer came about through me applying for something else with them and her recognising my creative skills. Any advice on pricing would be REALLY appreciated, as the lady running the business has never used someone else to do her promotional material for her. Please help! Thankyou..

SO? If you can build web sites then dont let a flyer scare you! do an uncle search (google) get some info on fliers etc.

Here is something to read: http://www.bamagazine.com/ the calendar article will give you ideas, the rest you have to subscribe...but at least you start somewhere....

anyone else?

Hey PLaTinUM...thankyou for the advice. I've been getting busy with Uncle for a few hours now; it's slow and painful, but I'm getting there. Anyway; I never said I can build Web sites (I can't :/). Oh and cheers for the link by the way!

Haha. Good one.

But I'd warn that, as always, web does not equal print. Just because I can build a decent site in XHTML/CSS doesn't mean I can use InDesign or Quark or Illustrator for shit.
