there is no spoon.

images show fine

images show fine (crap is a physical directory).

ok, i'll try and explain it a bit better

lets use the member login name "fred"

freds page will be located at:

www.mysite.com/fred - which is a virtual directory

www.mysite.com/fred/ is the same virtual directory, but for some reason adding the trailing / means that the page no longer loads correctly

images located in www.mysite.com/images dont load
css files located in www.mysite.com/css dont load
other files located in www.mysite.com dont load

the page itself loads fine, it grabs the id and does its magic on it and spews out the results, but the paths to all the images etc seem to stop working..
