html frames help!! [FIXED]

First, let me say I'm not a web designer. I do the best I can to put things together. I am a travel agency owner and I am trying to make a navigational page for my outside travel agents that will contain links to our various suppliers. I've been working on this page for 2 days now and it's not working correctly. The first time or two that I click a link on the page, it will show the new page in the correct window. Then, after that, it opens up the page in a new browser window. I'm not sure why. I've gone through the code line by line to try to figure out what I did wrong. Here is the page:

**fixed - so link removed**

Here are the other pages of the frame:

www.sapphirecruises.com/blue.html -- this is the menu on the left side

www.sapphirecruises.com/yellow.html -- this is the header

www.sapphirecruises.com/red.html -- this is the main portion where I want the other pages to open up into

If anyone can take a look at this and offer any advice on what I've done wrong, I'd be very, very grateful.

Thanks,

Tracey

Hi

I guess from seeing this page that it is not something you would show your clients, but rather it’s an internal page for your employees. Or else I would seriously considered doing something with the design of the page!

As for your html/frame problem sounds like you have just named it wrong in html, but its doesn’t matter because frames are dead/out and there is no reason for you to use it on the page you have here! (if you are wondering why try to google it)

You should instead just use “www.sapphirecruises.com/blue.html” no need to show the horrible banner 0_o and by just using that page you could let the user choose if he/she wants to open the link in the same window or a new one!
And as a bonus it would load much FASTER!

good luck

Thanks Timevisual. No, this is not a page for my clients. I know it's pretty hideous. I'm just trying to work out the functionality of it before I work on the graphics. It's a page I'm trying to make for my not so computer friendly outside agents. They need a place where they could find all the administrative and supplier pages they will need. I'd like to have some type of navigational frame on the left so they can move about to various supplier sites.

I know frames are outdated for most purposes. I don't think I've written one since 1997 or so. But, for this internal purpose, I'd like to get it to work as I think it will be the best option. I don't want the page to be searchable on the search engines. In fact, I may even password protect it so only my agents have access.

Any help on what specifically I can do to make my code work properly?

Thanks so much.

Tracey

Max,

Sorry, yes I removed the files. I decided to take Time Visual's advice and just skip on the frames altogether. They looked ugly and they just weren't working.
