That's not worth paying for at all.

G5 is nice but it will work not that good with leopard. I had some bugs during updates. so i think you would be better of with a intel based. If i recall you could use some stronger stuff than this one, no?

Love the picture rik.

That sounds like our backup server

I would pay around $400 - $600 (AUD). The PPC processor is the most disadvantageous. Still, it's more powerful than a modern netbook... but no screen?

Grrr they won't budge on the price.

Hi Jamie

For that price I could understand you wanting to buy it. But I’ve gone out and looked on a number of UK and US sites to see how much they actually sell for, its usually a better indication of value. Ebay have them going for over £700+ and Google shopping seems to show them starting at around the £600 mark.

they're not nessesarly wrong. ebay isn't about bargains and people can tend to pay over the odds for second-hand macs.

tell'em to pap it on ebay. buy yourself a imac/macbook. you get better value for money. they sell the unit. job done.

snow leopard wont run on that machine. it's value/usefulness will plumit come september.

I'm not saying they are wrong, just the wrong price for me unfortunatley . Will see what I can push them too, waiting to find out how much they will sell the Wacom Intuos3 A5 for also.
