iPhone's aren't the best, unless you wanna look awesome. Take a look at the: LG KU990 - Touch Screen, 5MP Camera etc. This is the one I like best because it's value for money. The iPhone is just overpriced. Sure it looks good, and its awesome but too expensive. |

Patents can be licenced, and touch screens have been able to respond to more than one touch before Apple did it... so don't hold your breath. |

AT&T Tilt / HTC Kaiser. I was tied between getting this or an iPhone for a couple of months, comparing them and trying them both out many times. The screen on the iPhone is clearly superior and it's a much more attractive phone to look at. The fact that it's an iPod as well is nice. So why did I choose the tilt/kaiser? * Slide out keyboard - the iPhone virtual keyboard is nice in small doses but gets annoying for anything more. * Full Exchange support, mail, calendar and contacts (this has changed now right?) * Putty Mobile - Good to have SSH access to servers martini style (anytime, any place, anywhere) All three of those are hugely important being on 24/7 call-out at work. Other failures within Safari Mobile include the inability to select and copy text and the fact that you can't download images from a webpage. By no means a dealbreaker but I also like the fact that I can browse to any website, download an mp3, then assign it as my ringtone. Rather than having to pay Apple twice to get one through iTunes. |

Got a Samsung i900, not enjoying the fact its virtually impossible to text anyone with it, or that is has has a shitey wee stylus hanging from it on a piece of string. Getting an I-phone instead. |

Shit phone, I own it. Hate it, you have to use the pen to txt or you won't get anywhere, and it takes ages. Infact I don't think I like touchphones. You have to use two hands to use them. |

There are quite a few SSH clients out for the iPhone now. Quote:
It's a system wide problem, not just Safari. And it's fucking ridiculous that they're on version 2.1 of the OS and still haven't introduced it. If you want to get specific about Safari though, the continuing lack of Flash support would be the one to go for. Quote:
It's actually even worse than that. The new mail alert? There isn't even an option to change that one. You either use the weird sound they supplied, which sounds more like an error tone than anything else, or have it on silent vibrate. "Hunch is a retard. He is fat, car, homosexual, gay, smelly, hungry, and doesn't like that Montel guy, because that's from Schindler's List."
