Which I mac should I get, yo?
Right, I'm off to buy one of these after work, and what I want to know is which one should I get? Basically be designing for print on it, with some After Effects on occasion. So, practically, how big a difference would the more expensive one make? I recommend the cheaper one and sticking 4GB of RAM in it from Crucial. They are both shit-hot machines, and I'm not sure how much you would be able to differenciate between the processors. However, RAM makes the world of difference. |

If you're designing for print, the screens aren't all that on the iMac. Don't be mistaken in thinking they're the same as ACDs. "Hunch is a retard. He is fat, car, homosexual, gay, smelly, hungry, and doesn't like that Montel guy, because that's from Schindler's List."
