4GB 2X2GB KINGSTON RAM@fsytech. For iMac, Macbook & Pro

I haven't got a clue about pricing for MacBook RAM, is this good value? Should I buy right now?

That's the average retail price for that kit. Nothing special about the price.

Try Crucial, the RAM is of good quality and they are always competitively priced with 1 to 2 day delivery.

Kingston are one of the few companies that make the chips and retail the stick as a whole, Samsung are another. But they both also sell their chips to other RAM manufacturers who put them on their sticks.

I don't know if Crucial make their own chips, but it's worth noting that the more expensive ram sticks aren't necessarily the best as they could very well be using the chips found on another manufacturer's stick.

When I ordered from them they behaved like a pack of cunts. I ended up cancelling the order and going with OWC.
