I'm curious about this also, most serious artists and pros have Mac computers though, instead of a PC... is there are really big difference?

I'd say it's more about preference between mac and pc. Though I do believe mac has a more solid os but if you're more comfortable with pc when you're using photoshop it really doesn't matter.

Uh...that computer is more than adequate. And it will be fine for 5 years at least. That looks like a gamer machine to me. The graphics card doesn't matter so much unless you're doing some serious 3D rendering work (which most designers don't do).

Macs do have an advantage in their handling of typefaces and color management. At least, that's what the cultists say.

I use Windows myself. And Mac OS X at work. Honestly? I prefer Windows, though there are things that Macs do better/differently.

It's all preference.

You know it really is about time you learned to make a comment regarding Macs or PCs without having to throw in some petty jibe.

Looks good. I use a 2.0ghz Intel Dual Core Mac Mini with 3gb RAM. Works a treat.
